Losing weight is a journey that a lot of people oftentimes find too
difficult. I've been into this journey and I have to say that every
single sacrifice that I made was worth it. Most people would say that
they want to lose weight but they don't do anything to achieve it. If
you truly want to start losing those pounds away, then I suggest that
you change.
This change that you have to go through is not like any
other changes that you made with your life. This kind of change is not
like moving into a new apartment or deciding which car to buy. It's more
than that! When I finally got the figure that I want, I looked back on
how much of a journey it was. I cried looking at some of my old videos
that I recorded 2 years ago. It reminded me of how much effort I gave
just to get the dream figure that I want.
Here are some quick tips on how I was able to succeed in reaching my dream:
1. Your worst enemy is yourself
Through
the entire course of your weight loss journey, you will meet a lot of
obstacles but the worst obstacle that you have to face is yourself. If
you'll let yourself get frustrated easily then you won't achieve
anything. In my first week of trying to lose weight, I didn't see any
result at all. Somehow, my weight loss journey got a little bit delayed
because of this.
2. Have people who will support you
Make
sure that you will inform your family and friends about your goal of
losing weight. Once they know that you are trying to lose weight, they
will keep on motivating you to keep on going especially during times
when you feel like you're not achieving anything at all.
3. Make sure that you want it so bad
People
want to lose weight, that's a fact. However, they don't want it bad
enough to actually make some sacrifices. I wanted it so bad that I
sacrificed a lot. Some of these sacrifices included not going to the bar
with friends, missing out on a lot of football games on TV and even a
few family celebrations. As the amount of sacrifices that you made piles
up, it will give you enough reason not to turn back.
